Beatrice Chou Partner & Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Chou is Chief Financial Officer of GSIF, bringing to the firm more than 16 years management experience with the world's leading banks.

Ms. Chou has held numerous high ranking positions in the Taiwan banking industry including CFO of Chase Manhattan Bank, CFO and Chief of Staff of the Consumer Banking Division of Citibank, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Citicorp's Securities Investment Consulting Inc, Chairman of Diners International, and Country Operations Officer leading Citibank's Consumer Banking Global Fulfillment Division.

As Senior Vice President with Citibank, in the role of Country Operations officer, her key responsibilities included overseeing island-wide Branch Operation Networks, Customer Call Centers, Operations Centers, Credit Cycle Management Centers, the Technology and System Support Network Center, and the Asia Pacific Internet Banking Development Center. Her total staff exceeded 1,300 and annual budget reached US$100 million.

While at Citibank, Ms. Chou was also responsible for launching innovative financial products, reforming and reengineering branch services, and establishing and integrating the credit card center. She also launched the extremely successful Mutual Funds and Investment Management business in Taiwan.

Ms. Chou holds an MBA from the University of Illinois, and is a registered CPA (Certified Public Accountant). She is a frequent speaker at financial industry forums in Taiwan.
